queXML is a simple XML schema for designing questionnaires. Included are stylesheets to administer a questionnaire in PDF (paper), CASES and LimeSurvey (was: phpSurveyor). queXML is compatible with the DDI standard for data description.
SDA provides an online DDI to DDL Conversion Service. You can upload DDI files from your computer to the conversion service's computer, choose various options, then download the resulting DDL file.
DDI Index is a Java/Javascript application that provides indexing and searching of XML files created in DDI (Data Documentation initiative) format. Searching and indexing is done using the Lucene search engine library. DDI Index was written by the Australian Social Science Data Archive in 2006 and is distributed under the Apache license.
