Archiving Your Work

We encourage authors to archive their DDI-related works in a trusted, long-term repository that preserves content and supports future discoverability.  We recommend Zenodo, a general-purpose open-access repository supported by OpenAIRE and CERN.  Authors may upload their materials directly to the DDI Alliance Zenodo Community, or choose another long-lived repository.

In limited cases, the DDI Alliance can assist by depositing materials on an author's behalf when the work is licensed under a Creative Commons (CC-BY) license or similar open license.  To request this assistance, please include a CC-BY license image or statement in your document and email the file to ddisecretariat@umich.edu.  The Secretariat will confirm receipt and complete the deposit as time and capacity permit.
