DDI-Codebook Version 2.6 Approved by Member Vote
Dear DDI Community,
The voting period for Version 2.6 of DDI-Codebook concluded on Tuesday, March 31. The vote passed with participation from 15 of 22 Designated Member Representatives (68% turnout). All votes cast supported the statement: “YES, the validity and usefulness of Version 2.6 has been demonstrated, and it should be accepted as part of the DDI standard.”

DDI-Codebook is a metadata standard for defining a single study, including its variables, files, source materials, and basic study information. Version 2.6 is the next incremental update, focused on improving consistency, clarity, and interoperability without introducing disruptive changes.
