Seeking Community Feedback on New Best Practice Guide for Documenting Questions and Questionnaires in DDI-Lifecycle

The DDI Questions and Questionnaires Working Group is pleased to share the first draft of its best practices document with the community: « Documenting Questions and Questionnaires in DDI-L: a best practice guide".

This work was initiated to bridge the gap between introductory training materials and the comprehensive but often complex DDI-Lifecycle model documentation, specifically in relation to documenting questions and questionnaires. We are now seeking feedback from the community to ensure the guide is clear, practical, and useful.

The current version of the document is not final, but it is sufficiently complete to support a comprehension review. More specifically, we would welcome your thoughts on:
  • The overall usefulness of the document
  • The clarity of each section
  • Any areas that would benefit from additional explanation, examples, or revision
Please note that some sections remain under development (highlighted in yellow), but this should not affect your ability to review the document.

The review period is now open and will close on 27 November. To submit feedback, please use the Comment Submission Form.

When submitting your feedback, select "Question / Questionnaire Best Practice" and enter your comments. You are welcome to submit feedback multiple times if you have comments on different sections of the document.

Thank you for helping us improve these guidelines and make them as valuable as possible for the DDI community.
